DAY 1: CITY TOUR
Upon arrival at Cusco airport, a representative of Cusco Expedition will meet you and drive you to the choosing hotel.
Our city tour goes from 9am-1pm and every single hour.
Our staff will pick you up from your hotel. Then we will visit the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, one of the most representative constructions of the Incas, from this part you will be able to appreciate a privileged view of almost the entire Cusco city. Continue towards Qenqo, an archaeological complex of mainly ceremonial
- Astronomical use. Then, get to know Pukapukara, which was a fortress for military use with multiple rooms, plazas, baths, aqueducts, walls, and towers. Finally, we will visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site with water channels made of carved stone that was possibly dedicated to the worship of water. Our mobility will take you back to your hotel or if you decide, it can leave you in the main square so you can enjoy the city and its people on your own. We finish with the first part of the Cusco.
DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY + MORAY AND SALT MINES
Continuing with our Cusco magic tour, explore the beautiful Peruvian countryside with a full-day tour. Our tour guide will pick you up at 06:15am then visiting Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first place to visit will be Chinchero, here you will find an exhibition center for textiles and South American camelids. The next destination will be Moray, a mysterious Inca archaeological site made up of platforms in the shape of an amphitheater as an agricultural laboratory. Afterwards, you will visit the salt mines, impressive salt wells that have been exploited since the Inca period. Once the guided tour is over, we will go to Urubamba we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Continue the trip to the town of Ollantaytambo, inhabited continuously since Inca times, and climb the iconic fortress, built on the side of the mountain finish at 3:30pm. Then, we catch the train at 16:36pm to Aguas calientes villages of Machupicchu and a representative of Cusco expedition will pick you up from train station to the hotel.
DIA 3: MACHUPICCHU
The most important day arrives where our expert tour guide will be waiting you, then we will go to the bus station and take bus to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. 09: am we will get in archaeological site, we will begin guiding tour, it will take last 2 hours approximately. After guiding tour, you will have enough time to explore the entire citadel on your own. 11:00 after the tour We will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes. 14:20 pm, we will board the train back to the Ollantaytambo station where our transport will wait you to return you to Cusco and later to your hotel. Our Cusco Magic tour ends at 8:30pm at main square.
DIA 4: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Our representative from Cusco expedition will pick you up early 4:45am from your hotel to start the tour. Driving time will be 2 hours from Cusco to Cusipata, here you will enjoy breakfast arranged by our cook. Afterwards, we are going to continue until a small village Pampa Chiri to continue the journey to the starting point of our trek. We will begin our walk for 1 hour and a half up the mountain until we reach the foothills of the Red Valley, the access point to this mystical place. Once at the top of the mountain you will have time to enjoy the unique landscape of the mountain, take photos and above all, recharge you selves with the incredible energy that comes from this sacred place. Then, we will start our walking back to our transportation. Then, we will have a rich buffet lunch. Later, we will continue the return trip to Cusco. The daytrip of the rainbow mountain finish at 16:30.
