Come and visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world by yourself, with family, or with friends. This is a great experience for people of all ages. And we have daily departures which can be combined with our other tours around the country, to suit your travel needs.

Itinerary 

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO

• Fly from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, you’ll be met by a Cusco expedition representative who will go through your travel program and give you all your needed tickets.
• Use your first day to rejuvenate yourself by resting at the hotel or enjoying hotel services or by walking around nearby districts. Be sure to ask your hotel concierge for recommendations or your travel representative for a city guide.

DAY 2: CUSCO CITY TOUR

• Today, you’ll go on a walking tour through the top sites in the city of Cusco and the most important temple of the Inca Empire: Qoricancha.
• Indulge in the flavors and sites of the bustling San Pedro Market where your guide will point out the locally-grown fruits and vegetables, some new and some familiar. Next, head into the San Blas neighborhood to watch artisans at work and purchase some unique Peruvian souvenirs.
• After you’ve had your fill of shopping, your journey continues high above Cusco where the Inca ruins of Q’enqo and Sacasyhuamán watch over the city. Explore these enigmatic sites with your private guide who will point out important details and little-known facts about these fascinating sites. You’ll be dropped off at your Cusco hotel after your tour for a free evening to relax and rest.

DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY TOUR

• Explore the beautiful Peruvian countryside with a full-day tour of the magical Sacred Valley, home to several royal estates of Incan emperors. First, you will visit the town of Pisac, famous for its bustling indigenous market and for the beautiful Incan ruins on the hillside overlooking the city. Following your visit to Pisac, you will stop for lunch (not included) at a buffet restaurant offering a variety of Peruvian and international food near the town of Urubamba, named after the sacred river that flows through the region.
• Next, you will visit the spectacular fortress of Ollantaytambo. These magnificent Incan ruins that were part of the royal estate of the Incan emperor Pachacuti. Later, you will be taken to your comfortable hotel in the Sacred Valley. If you’ve selected a hotel in Ollantaytambo, you can continue exploring the traditional Incan town at your leisure.

DAY 4: MACHUPICCHU TOUR

• An early morning will reward you with another momentous day of exploring the “Lost City of the Incas”. Your tour guide will take you through the iconic ruins of Machu Picchu, discussing the mystery and skill of its construction as you absorb the magical landscape that surrounds this important ruin.
• Take in the final views of the Sacred Valley while you travel back. Your driver will be waiting at the station to take you back to your hotel in Cusco for some much-deserved rest.
Upgrade options: Climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain for bird’s-eye views of the ruins or add an extra day in Machu Picchu.

DAY 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

• Enjoy a final early start to your day and head to Vinicunca, also known as the Rainbow Mountain. On the way, you can appreciate the Andes Mountains as you pass by beautiful snow-capped mountains and unique landscapes.
• Watch alpacas and llamas frolic along the trail as you walk to the sacred mountain. Learn about the reasons why the Incas and Andean people worship the Pachamama or Mother Earth on this incredible tour of Rainbow Mountain that includes lunch.

DAY 6: HUMANTAY LAKE- SALKANTAY TREK

• We pass to pick up everyone from their respective hotels between 4:30 to 5:00 am then we will go to the town of Mollepata by car for 2 hours where we will make a stop at the restaurant to have a delicious breakfast, which will take about an hour and then we continue in the same car for 1 more hour towards the beginning of the hike which is called Soraypampa at 3900 m, then we go to the control point to pay the entrance fee to the community (20 soles for foreign visitor and 10 soles for Peruvian).
• Afterward, we get ready for the hike towards the lake Humantay for around 2 hours uphill hike a distance of 3 km. Once in Humantay Lake, you will have enough time to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery, listen to the explanations of the guide, and enjoy all the wonderful landscape of the area.
• The time that you will spend at Lake Humantay is about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the weather conditions, sometimes it is cloudy, foggy or a little rainy and it is very cold in that case you may stay about 30 minutes if the weather is sunny and clear you can Stay around 1.5 hours enough time to know the lake Humantay. After we will get ready for the return hike to the car stop and it will be the end of the hike then we take the car back to Mollepata for an hour where we will stop to have a buffet lunch and then 2 more hours by car back to Cusco.

DAY 7: RETORN TO LIMA & CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY

Enjoy a final delectable breakfast at your Cusco hotel. Our Cusco expedition representative will meet you in time to transfer you to the airport to begin your journey back home.
