Your day begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive to the starting point of the trek. As you embark on the hike, our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the area’s geology, history, and cultural significance. Trek through awe-inspiring landscapes, traversing diverse ecosystems, and take in the magnificence of the snow-capped Ausangate Mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Cusco region.

The highlight of the tour is the exploration of the Seven Lakes, each with its own unique beauty and vibrant colors. The tranquil turquoise waters of these glacial lakes offer a serene backdrop for capturing stunning photographs and enjoying a moment of reflection amidst nature.

After a full day of adventure, we will return to Cusco, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, with memories of an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Andes.

Itinerary Ausangate Full Day Tour 7 lakes

Day 1: Cusco – Tinki (3950 m.) – Pajchanta (4200 m.) – Lagunas (4850 m.) – Cusco

At 4:00 in the morning, we pick you up from the hotel and head to the town of Pajchanta. We will first get to Tinki and take a break. From Tinki it takes about 45 minutes to get to Pajchanta, where a delicious breakfast will be prepared for us. From this place we will start walking towards the beautiful lagoons of Ausangate.

We will have a walk of five hours in total – visiting the Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha and Q’omercocha lagoons, we will also be able to appreciate the Ausangate (6834 m.), Mariposa (5842 m.), Jampa (5500 m.) Mountains. .), Pucapunta (5740 m.), Caracol (5625 m.), Tinki (5300 m.) And the entire Qayangate Mountain Range, we will also see birds, alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas and with luck the Andean Condor. After doing a circuit we will return to Pajchanta to enjoy the hot springs. We will finish the day in the relaxing hot springs of Ausangate. Ideal for relaxing the muscles of the body. After a buffet lunch we will return to Cusco where we will take you back to your hotel.
